I hope everyone had a great day, I sort of did. Tonight I decided to do the First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros Hosted By Bibliophile By the Sea. The book I choose is The Probability of Miracles By Wendy Wunder. It has been on my TBR for sooo long and i really love the cover. hopefully I will get around to it before the end of the year 😀
Here is my Tuesday Intro:
“When Campbell’s father died, he left he $1,262.56- As much as he’d been able to sock away during his twenty year gig as a fire dancer for the “Spirit of Aloha” show at Disney’s Polynesian Hotel. Coincidentally, that was exactly how much her fat uncle Gus was asking for his 1998 Volkswagen Beetle in vapor, the only color worth having if you wanted o have a WV Beetle. Cam had been coveting it since she was six, and it was worth every penny. It blended into the mist as an invisible car, and when she drove it, she felt invisible, invincible and alone.”
A little bit about the book:
Campbell Cooper has never been in love. And if the doctors are right, she’ll never have the chance. So when she’s told she needs a miracle, her family moves 1,500 miles north to Promise, Maine–a place where amazing, unexplainable events are said to occur–like it or not. And when a mysterious envelope arrives, containing a list of things for Cam to do before she dies, she finally learns to believe–in love, in herself, and maybe even in miracles, as improbable as they may seem.
