A beautiful and distinguished family.

A private island.

A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

My Thoughts

“The island is ours. Here, in some way, we are young forever.”

I’m going to try Very hard to not give anything away right now.

“The universe is seeming really huge right now. I need something to hold on to.”

I really debated stopping my review here but i figured i could give you a little bit more on this. We follow the wealthy Sinclair family as they spend their summers on their private island, we follow the unreliable narrator Candace Sinclair as she relates summers with her Cousins , Mirren, Johnny and friend Gat. You are not supposed to like the characters , you are not supposed to get them but you can feel them. I when it to this book with no knowledge of what i was getting into and i think it is the best way to do it, head first but  I don’t really want to say anything more, except i really i can say that i really recommend it to anyone. Just listen to me.:

Don’t skip pages.

– Don’t read spoilers.

 – Don’t ask for spoilers.

Just go blind into this book.

Please, i just want you to have the same experience i had.

I loved  how it was building up from page 1 and love how mysterious it was, i love how intense and nervous i felt. For such a short book it felt super long, the way E.lockhart condensed a hundred meaning into a sentence it’s amazing. I can tell you that i cried like i haven’t cried in my life from a book, so get the tissues , and it wasn’t  because of the… no i’m sorry, i cant.I will stop talking and let you read it, but one more thing first prepare yourself to be surprised, now i am pealing myself from this keyboard so i don’t give anything away!

Let’s discuss! where you surprised? not? loved it? hated? Anything 🙂
