Lets get a little familiar with the story

The New York Times bestselling author of On Dublin Street and Down London Road returns with a story about letting go of the past and learning to trust in the future…

When Hannah Nichols last saw Marco D’Alessandro, five long years ago, he broke her heart. The bad boy with a hidden sweet side was the only guy Hannah ever loved—and the only man she’s ever been with. After one intense night of giving into temptation, Marco took off, leaving Scotland and Hannah behind. Shattered by the consequences of their night together, Hannah has never truly moved on.

Leaving Hannah was the biggest mistake of Marco’s life, something he has deeply regretted for years. So when fate reunites them, he refuses to let her go without a fight. Determined to make her his, Marco pursues Hannah, reminding her of all the reasons they’re meant to be together.…

But just when Marco thinks they’re committed to a future together, Hannah makes a discovery that unearths the secret pain she’s been hiding from him, a secret that could tear them apart before they have a real chance to start over again…

“When I’m with you it feels like everything’s going to be okay. I can’t explain it.”

My thoughts:

The fourth book on the Dublin Street series by Samantha Young is good. I’m not going to say it was as great or that i loved it as the other books  but it was by far better than a lot of books I’ve read recently ans i still loved it. Hannah story is lifting and heartbreaking at the same time. I have seen Hannah grow from book one so it was a little bit hard to adjust to this new older and confident Hannah. Oh man did i have a very different idea of her story was going to be,but either way i loved it. Samantha captured her feeling and ideas in such a clear way, like she does in all her books , that even when you don’t agree with he decisions and actions you understand her and want whats best for her  but even though i loved her as a person i got so frustrated with her sometimes, but that is maybe because i like my characters to do what i like (JE-JE-JE)

“I’m your best friend … You’ve just forgotten. My fault, I know. I can help you remember.”

This quote would be what the book is based on. ❤

Hannah and Marcos relationship began in such a sweet and natural way, an older boy trying to help a small girl, but soon lines are crossed and secrets shared . and in a world or perfect and a world of flawed this two kids found each other and that made all the difference in the world. but the problem was they were kids and sometimes they mess up and hurt each other. years later they find each other but can the damage be forgiven? the beginning of the book i Hannah s memories from her teenage years and how they met. i loved their relationship at 14 and at 20 something.

As i was reading Marco’s story my heart broke : For him , for his family and especially for Hannah . I can’t even begin to understand what is like to live a life like that. but at the same time i was SOOO satisfied with the way he reacted to his life, how he took hold of it and made it his own. relationship wise they were perfect to each other Marco being the manly hardworking man and Hannah the sweet ,caring women to help him through it all.

“You don’t owe me anything.”
“Yes, I fucking do,” he said abruptly. “Whatever this is” – he gestured between us – “it’s important.”

Thought out this book we know there are secrets, on both and, but  even thought i think its easy to figure one out from the beginning i can assure you that the other one shocked me. The kind of shock that makes you stop reading for a few minutes and passe your room until your heart stops trying to escape your chest, that’s how i felt. and the way the author followed them up was perfect. i Also LOVED getting to hear from Branden and Joss and Jo and Cam and Ellie and Adam, and Oh lots of babies !

I would recommend this book to People who like a good young romance and heartbreak with happy endings books. 😀 but first read the other books, i enjoyed them much! Which is your favorite Romance Novel?
